The Audemat group purchases NORTEK: Audemat reinforces digital TV expertise

The AUDEMAT group (www.audemat.com) announced today the buyout of NORTEK (www.nortek-tv.com). The AUDEMAT group has developed rapidly over the past few years (25% growth average over the last 10 years) and decided to accelerate this expansion in digital TV by purchasing NORTEK (www.nortek-tv.com). “Our growth relies mainly on innovation developed by our R&D teams. The emergence of new digital technologies in the world means we must offer a wider and more effective product line to our customers. TV on mobile phones won’t wait for us!” stated Bruno Rost, CEO of the AUDEMAT Group. “The purchase of NORTEK, recognized industry wide for analog and digital TV products in the French domestic market, was the ideal partner to advance the development of future products” adds Rost. NORTEK company managers are also excited about the signature of the contract: “We are certain that we have found in AUDEMAT the management discipline and technological abilities that will allow us to successfully address markets in Digital TV, TNT and TV over cell phones. Sales wise, the success that the Audemat group has achieved throughout the world can only be increased thanks to this merger” states Dominique Poissonnier, founder of NORTEK.
